Meet the Counselors Part 3

Summer 2017 will be full of both new and familiar faces.  Meet Ben, Tess, Katie and Devin:

Ben.jpgHey! I’m Ben and I live in North Muskegon and go to North Muskegon High School.  This will be my ninth summer at camp and first year as a counselor on staff!  My favorite color is blue, and I really like to play tennis.  This summer at camp I really look forward to playing capture the flag, and spending time outside!

Tess.JPGHi guys! My name is Tess and I’m so excited to be apart of Camp Pendalouan for the first time this summer! I am a senior at East Grand Rapids High School, but I’m originally from Connecticut where I spent many years growing up as a camp kid. I like swimming, playing soccer, reading, hiking, biking, and anything else outside! Some of my favorite camp activities are canoeing, fort building, and capture the flag. I can’t wait to see all of you at Camp Pendy this summer!

Hey, what’s up! My name is Katie and this will be my third summer as a counselor at Camp Pendalouan. Camp is one of my all time favorite places and I am so excited to be back on the shores of Big Blue. I can’t wait for polar bear swim, foil dinners and the square dance! I am originally from Northville MI and I just graduated from Grand Valley! When I’m not at camp you can usually find me hanging out with my friends or running! This year I ran my third half marathon! I can’t wait to see EVERYONE this summer! Don’t forget to pack your toothbrush, flashlight and your DANCE MOVES; I’ve been practicing!

Devin.jpegHi Everyone, my name is Devin, I’m a junior at Central Michigan University, majoring in Recreation and Event Management. I’m originally from Jenison, MI (West of GR). I was a sixth grade camper at Camp Pendalouan, and returned as a junior counselor for my elementary school later on in high school. A few fun facts about me, I’m a hockey and Red Wings fanatic, and I worked in Disney World last spring as a part of the Disney College Program Internship. I can’t wait to get out and enjoy the fun games, activities, and adventures that Pendalouan has to offer. I’m looking forward to meeting all of the new campers and having a blast this summer.
